De nye kravene gjelder fra og med 01.11.2020 og mesterskap etter denne datoen måles opp mot de nye kravene. kvalifiseringskrav fra et mesterskap det ene året til samme mesterskap neste år (løftere berøres ikke av at f.eks klassisk EM er flyttes fra mars, til desember). Landslagskravene er basert på IPFs ranking de foregående tre årene og snittet av det 90.persentil for hver av vektklassene. Eksempelvis dersom det er registrert 200 resultater fra internasjonale stevner i din vektklasse må du prestere bedre enn 180 av disse løfterne for å være kvalifisert for landslaget.
